GNS3 Network Simulation Guide

GNS3 یک شبیه ساز متن باز شبکه می باشد که دارای محیط گرافیکی بوده و به کاربران اجازه می دهد سیستم هایی از قبیل روترهای سیسکو، روترهای Juniper، روترهای Vyatta، ماشین های مجازی لینوکسی، ماشین های مجازی ویندوزی را شبیه سازی کنند. استفاده از GNS3 همیشه یک کار آسان نیست بخصوص اگر هدف شبیه سازی شبکه های پیچیده باشد. دانشجویان شبکه نیز برای آموختن نحوه پیکربندی و استقرار تجهیزات شبکه شرکت های مختلف مانند سیسکو، جونیپر و … از GNS3 استفاده می کنند. بعلاوه از این نرم افزار می توان به منظور آزمایش ویژگیهای متعدد سیستم عامل های JunOS , Cisco IOS  قبل از پیاده سازی آنها در محیط های واقعی بهره برد.
